Baptism


Parents are encouraged to present their new-born infants to baptism because we believe God loves all and in baptism we are recognising the person as a child of God as well as a child of their earthly parents.

Discovery Bay Church has an open policy to baptisms. Baptisms are always held on a Sunday during the usual service when the whole community gathers to worship God and give thanks for all our blessings. Baptisms are arranged through the Acting Priest-in-Charge, the Very Revd Kwok-keung Chan, who will help you to choose a Sunday that is convenient to both you and the church.
